In the unlikely event of a problem with your new rod, our objective is clear – to get you back fishing as quickly as possible. This no-nonsense clearly explained warranty and repair service is designed to do just that with minimal fuss, cost and inconvenience if the worst should happen. We keep it simple, we don’t ‘hide behind’ fancy words, and we’ll always do our best to help. To get the best out of your rod, please read the rod care instructions on the separate information sheet. All Fulling Mill rods are covered by a limited warranty covering manufacturing defects. Thereafter, the company will make every effort to repair or replace damaged rods or sections but this may involve a charge being levied. Details of the warranty and how to claim are explained below. This is an ‘original owner’ warranty, and the benefit may not be transferred to any third party. However, Fulling Mill will always try to help any customer in distress.

First things first…

Before any warranty work, repairs or replacements can take place we do need to see your rod. For this to happen, you should either bring the rod to our offices, or send it to us, prepaid and insured, for examination. If sending to us, please:
• Pack securely into a disposable tube.
• Include your full name and address.
• Add any comments that might help us to identify a potential problem.
• Provide date and place of purchase.
• Include a payment of £25 (£35 for rods over 12ft) to cover our handling charges and return postage and packaging (cheques payable to Fulling Mill Ltd).
• Send to (obtain a certificate of posting and insurance):

What happens next?

Manufacturing Defect
If your rod is damaged due to a manufacturing defect, Fulling Mill will, at their own discretion, either replace or repair the rod or sections required at no extra charge. In this case you should receive your repaired (or replaced) rod back within a week.

Any other problems or damage
Rods or rod sections suffering from accidental damage, neglect or normal wear and tear will, at the company’s discretion, be repaired or replaced. The company will make a charge for this service, and a full estimate will be provided prior to commencement of any repair or replacement work. Your rod should usually be returned to you within a week of authorisation of repairs.

Insurance
For accidental damage or loss, we strongly urge you to check your household policy, travel insurance, etc, and ensure that all your valuable fishing tackle is adequately covered.

How long does it take?

Repaired or replaced rods will usually be sent back to you within a week, often within 24 hours. To
ensure reliable and secure delivery, we will use a ‘signed for’ delivery service.

But what if..?

If damaged or faulty rods have been discontinued or superseded by newer models, replacement parts may no longer be available. Fulling Mill reserve the right to offer the nearest alternative parts as replacements, and there may be colour, material and/or specification and manufacturer variations.

Fulling Mill cannot be held responsible for any associated, incidental or consequential loss due to the use of, damage to, or loss of your rod.

Other Stuff…

This warranty is in addition to your statutory rights. It replaces all previous Fulling Mill warranties and the company reserve the right to amend, replace or withdraw the warranty if required. Before making a claim, please try to check the Fulling Mill web site for updated instructions, addresses, details or any variations to this warranty.
