This is personal preference but the information below offers a guideline of the most popular size hook used with each tube size:

2 inch – 6,8
1 ½ inch – 8,10
1 inch – 8,10 & 12
¾ inch – 10, 12
½ inch – 12, 14
Micro tubes – small treble hooks
