Ordering and Delivery

Ordering

You can order online, by telephone or fax.

When you place an order through our website, we will immediately send you an e-mail to confirm that we have received your order. Hartley Fly will check the price and the availability of the goods. In the unlikely event that the goods are no longer available, or that we have made a pricing error, we will advise you of this. The right to accept or decline any order is entirely at our discretion.


Prices include VAT at the prevailing UK rate.

Despatch and Delivery

Upon successfully processing your payment transaction, your goods will be despatched within 24 hours of order placement. This excludes weekends, holiday periods, UK Bank Holidays and if your order contains personalised items.

UK MAINLAND - UK addresses containing a full and valid UK MAINLAND Postal Code (does not include Isles or Northern Ireland):

A £1.95 delivery charge applies to ALLorders where delivery is to a UK mainland address possessing a full and valid UK postal code. This does not include any of the UK Isles or Northern Ireland – please see NON-UK MAINLAND information below for relevant delivery charges for these destinations.

Larger/heavier items such as rods, kits, etc will be sent via courier service and will require a signature upon receipt.

Your goods can normally be expected to arrive within 2 days of despatch (excluding weekends, holiday periods and UK Bank Holidays). Please note: if your order contains a mix of personalised items and non-personalised items your order will be despatched when your personalised items are ready.

Hartley Fly cannot be held responsible for any delays resulting from the postal or courier service providers.

NON-UK MAINLAND - Other UK addresses containing a full and valid UK Postal Code but not located on the mainland:

If your address possesses a full and valid postal code but is not situated on the UK mainland the following delivery charges will apply:

Small items – £1.95

Larger/heavier items such as rods, kits, etc - Postage/Carriage charges are calculated based on the delivery address and the total weight of your order. We are unable to calculate the final cost until you have completed your product selection and entered the checkout. We will send your order using the most cost effective and practicable service provider available. Signature will be required upon receipt.

Returns Policy - Cancelling An Order/Exchanges/Refunds

If you are not entirely satisfied with your goods you have the right to cancel your order. To do this, please contact us on01656 653498orsales@hartleyfly.com. You do not have to give us a reason for cancellation; however, a brief explanation will help us to improve the service we offer to customers in the future. (This does not apply to personalised items. Please see Personalised Items Returns Policy below).

If you cancel an order, require an exchange or refund you must return the goods to us at your own expense. You must ensure that the goods are packaged adequately to protect against damage. We highly recommend that you obtain proof of posting or use a recorded/insured service for returning any items as we regret we cannot be held responsible for goods lost or damaged in transit.

We will refund the value of the goods on satisfactory receipt of them, which must be received in good condition, unused, in original packaging and include any accessories and items supplied. We will refund you using the payment method you used at the time of purchase, within 30 days of receiving your notice to cancel.

Personalised Items Returns Policy

Any personalised item(s) cannot be returned for a refund or exchange. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Faulty or Damaged Items

If there is a problem with any of the goods, please contact us. We will handle the matter in accordance with your legal rights.

Non-Receipt of Goods

Claims for non-delivery of goods must be notified to Hartley Fly within 14 days of placing your order. Any shortages in packages must be notified to us within 7 working days following the day after the date of delivery.

Governing Law

UK law applies. You and Hartley Fly submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the UK courts in relation to any disputes arising out of this Agreement.

Hartley Fly observes the code of practice relating to the use of personal data as outlined in the UK Data Protection Act 1998. We do not share your information with any third parties.
